| The Pajaro Valley Aviation Academy (PVAA) helps local youth pursue careers in aviation by providing scholarships for education in aviation fields from aircraft maintenance to pilot training. We are not a school; our purpose is to grant scholarships.
Since its inception in 2000, the PVAA has provided over $135,000 in scholarships for Private Pilot certificate to Jet rating to Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
Over 80 percent of the money, almost $108,000, was spent at Watsonville Municipal Airport flight schools, thereby putting that money back into the local economy.
